Personal Training with Michael
I have been involved with various aspects of health and fitness for over 33 years, beginning in elementary school and continuing through high school where I participated in competitive basketball, track, and football. After high school, I received a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Houston, became a physical therapy technician, and was certified as a personal trainer in 2000.
I believe in living a balanced lifestyle, and I find that it is important to design a workout program that fits the individual. The program must be realistic, and since every individual's lifestyle is different, the program must fit the individual's specific goals and needs. These goals and needs can change as one's life changes, and I feel a personal trainer should always be aware of this. Although sacrifices must be made to get and stay healthy, I feel that life is short and that, oftentimes, moderating unhealthy behavior is better than giving up all of the things that we enjoy.
Be healthy!
